No, prior experience is not necessary! SUP is accessible to people of all skill levels, including beginners.

In suitable conditions, risk management, and when practiced with proper procedures, SUP is generally considered safe. However, like any water sport, it’s essential to be aware of potential risks and follow safety guidelines.
Yes, reservations are recommended for any of our activities. We keep our course and tour sizes small. With limited options, we book fast.
If you need to cancel, the following cancellation policy will apply: cancellations can be made more than 48 hours from the activity. Any cancellations under 48 hours are non-refundable. However, if we cancel due to activity, you will receive a 100% refund. Please refer to our cancellation policy for more information.
Most of our courses will take place at Columbia Point Marina. Other locations are available by request for specific activities, such as private lessons.
No, we do not offer rentals at this time. We do, however, have boards available as an add-on for courses or tours. If you would like to use one of our boards, it is $25 per course. Pricing for tours varies depending on the type of tour, please reach out for more information on those.
You should book as soon as you know you want to go! Our sizes are small and booking fills up fast. You are always welcome to call us and check for availability for last-minute reservations.
Yes, we can hang on to your keys while you are on the water. We have dry bags that you may use. We recommend that you leave valuables at home and other items in your vehicle.
Unfortunately we do not allow pets on our boards to prevent possible damage to equipment.
Our course sizes are intentionally kept small to provide personalized instruction and ensure a quality learning experience. Typically, our classes accommodate groups up to 4 participants per instructor, allowing for individual attention and guidance. This approach helps participants feel comfortable and confident while learning techniques and safety procedures.
Our tour capacity can range up to 5 participants per tour, depending on the specific tour packageand location. We prioritize small group sizes to ensure personalized attention, safety, and an enjoyable experience for all participants.

We are not a full- time company. We are likely available most weekday evenings and on weekends unless otherwise occupied. Please check our schedule and reach out with any questions.
We do not cancel for light rain. If weather conditions are unsafe, we may cancel the activity at any time for a 100% refund.
Our boards have a maximum weight limit of 400 lbs.
If you have your own board, you are more than welcome to bring it to your course. We recommend it as it is good to practice on the gear you will be using. If you are bringing your own board, please make sure to bring your paddle, life jacket, leash and a whistle.
We accept all major credit cards and it is the preferred method of payment. We also accept cash.

We recommend wearing clothing for the water and that you are comfortable moving around in. Also, sunscreen, hat, polarized sunglasses and water to stay hydrated would be great to have. If you get wet, having dry clothes and a towel in your car waiting is always nice too.
Yes, if you are renting the board for our course or tour, we will provide a life jacket, paddle, leash and whistle with your board rental.
Our policy regarding damage equipment requires participants to report any damage immediately. Depending on the extent of the damage, repair or replacement fees may apply, which will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. We encourage all participants to handle equipment with care to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
It is always best to arrive 10-15 minutes before your start time. If you are bringing your own equipment and need to inflate, it is best to arrive 35 minutes early to make sure you’re ready to go prior to the course start.
