No prior experience is required. This tour is beginner-friendly with calm, slow-moving water—perfect for building confidence. We’ll start with a brief on-land orientation before launching to ensure you’re comfortable.
Cost varies depending on group size, timing, and river conditions. Please contact us for current rates and availability. We’re happy to work with you to find the right option for your adventure.
This tour typically lasts 3 to 5 hours and can cover up to 8 miles, depending on group pace and how much exploring you’d like to do. The calm, slow-moving water allows for a relaxed, flexible experience.
Transportation is not included, but we’re happy to assist with coordinating.
This tour begins and ends at the same launch site. You’ll receive directions and meeting details after booking—no shuttle coordination is needed.
Gear is not included with this tour. You’re welcome—and encouraged—to bring your own setup. It’s a great way to build confidence using the gear you’ll paddle with most often. If you bring your own board, please be sure to also bring a paddle, life jacket (PFD), leash, and whistle, as all are required for the tour.
If you don’t have your own equipment yet, no problem—we offer high-quality rentals (board, paddle, PFD, and leash) that can be added during booking.
Once you’re booked, we’ll send you a pre-tour packet with full details, including an itinerary and a paddle checklist to help you prepare. In general, plan to bring water-appropriate clothing (quick-dry or moisture-wicking layers), water shoes or secure sandals, bug spray, sunscreen, a towel or change of clothes for after, and plenty of drinking water and snacks. If you’re using your own gear, don’t forget your paddleboard, paddle, life jacket (PFD), leash, and whistle.
